Hi there, today I'm sending a little product review your way.

I was so excited to see Soap&Glory has sent me not one but seven shades of their Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss! I've never tried these before, but I knew about the cult following those little gems are.
Glossy lips seems to be the ghost of the 00s, when everybody would slap a thick layer of sticky lip gloss on their lips and pray it's not windy outside. These days are gone; the formulas are waaaay more advanced now and lip glosses offer great colour payoff and a moisturising effect. After a few years of matte lipstick boom (bye, dry and flaky lips) we're getting back to good old shine.
So, a few technicalities. These products are lip plumping lip glosses - their formula is designed to make your lips appear softer and fuller. S&G introduced the SUPERFILL™ Lip Plumping Spheres formula. Under this mysterious name there are tiny little spheres that increase in volume upon contact with water. But no, you can't feel any of that (there's nothing worse than a grainy lip product) - it's perfectly smooth.

Here are the swatches of all seven shades. I felt like a proper beauty blogger doing that. You can see that all shades have a slight shimmer to them - maybe apart from Super Peach, it's the most matte of them all. S&G came up with a pretty good range of colours that covers all your nude bases - there's a plummy one, peach, pinks and straight up nudes. My favourite shade is Pink-Out-Loud, it's so fresh and perfect for spring (or pretending it's spring).

This is what Pink-Out-Loud looks on my lips; as you can see the colour payoff is really good for a lip gloss. The fun part of this product begins once you apply it - wait a minute or two and you'll feel a buzzing and tingling sensation. It's the plumping magic happening; nothing to be afraid of. It's actually kind of enjoyable. Its staying power is good for a lip gloss, of course it's not a hardcore liquid lipstick that won't leave your lips for a decade. It's smooth, it's moisturising, it's never sticky, it's super shiny - what else could you want from a lip gloss?

Say hi to my face in its full glory; lip glosses are perfect for natural looks and natural looks are my jam. Here I'm wearing the pink shade of Sexy Mother Pucker again. I brushed my eyebrows in upward movements with a dark eyebrow mascara, wore a pinky-brown eyeshadow all over my lid, applied a layer of lengthening mascara and added a bit of cream blush to make my cheeks glow.
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss by Soap&Glory is available at Boots for £9. It's currently on offer, so if you buy one, the next one will be half price. Link here.
