Hi there, long time no see! Today I'm coming at you with a test/review of some of Soap & Glory concealers. My skin has been really bad lately - I've been sick (which translates to awful dark circles) and breaking out and all that. But hey, it's an even better situation for testing concealers, right?

Here are my picks for today. Let's start with what would naturally come first: priming. But not just priming. Colour-concealing priming!

From top left, clockwise, we've got:
Kick Ass Super-Blur Eraser This is the all-around priming stick. It contains wax and lightweight oils to create a film on your face that blurs all the imperfections and illuminates your face.
Kick Ass Fake Awake A yellow concealer that cancels out the blue and purple undertones - in short, it's great for your post-all nighter eye circles.
Kick Ass All Is Calm Concealer My personal favourite. Green cancels out redness, so apply it on any breakouts/red patches on your face, blend and you're good to go.
Kick Ass Just Bright Concealer This lavender stick does the opposite of the yellow one: it cancels out the unwanted yellow undertones. It is also an overall illuminating stick.

This is more or less how I use my sticks. It all goes on top of my moisturiser, but underneath my foundation. As you can see, I applied the yellow concealer generously under my eyes in a triangular shape. On any redness-prone areas and on my breakouts I applied the green one. Then, in the places where light would naturally hit I applied the illuminating lavender stick. Everywhere else there's the super-blur eraser, but it comes out clear on the skin, so you can't quite see it.
For blending, I usually use a damp beauty blender or just my fingers.

Once all is blended, I usually apply a light coverage foundation and spot-conceal. I think this works better for me as I'm less likely to end up cakey and gross. Then comes the most important step, the Actual Concealing and Setting and Going On with My Life.
From the left:
Kick Ass Concealer Aka the ultimate concealer set you need in your life. It contains two shades of concealer: a peachy one for your spots and a yellow one for your dark circles. Also, there's a transparent powder for precise setting.
Kick Ass Blur & Brighten My favourite. It's an easy, multi-use product for all your face. It glides on your skin easily and melts into a velvety formula that's easy to blend. Good coverage, even though not as high as the pot concealer. Great for a natural look.
Kick Ass Pressed Powder A translucent setting powder. Super lightweight, but mattifying product that prolongs the life of your make up. I use a large brush to evenly cover my T-zone. Also, the packaging includes a mirror, which makes this powder an on-the-go essential.

Here's the result using the pot concealer on my under-eye area and worse breakouts and the crayon one on any remaining discolouration. Overall, I'm a fan: my face looks fresh and my imperfections are almost gone, but I avoided the heavy coverage effect.
Alright, I hope this post gave you some idea about how to use the colour correcting concealers as I know they may seem a little daunting. But they're so easy to use and take no time at all once you know the basic rules.
Happy spring, everybody!
