Hey there, today I'm testing out some of Soap & Glory makeup products with the main star being their Kick Into Neutral Eyeshadow Palette. Let's get straight into it, shall we?

Also, my friend Hazel is reviewing this palette too, for way better quality pictures and her lovely face head to her blog HERE!

The palette contains ten shades ranging from super fair, nearly translucent nudes to darker, smokier browns and greys. There are mostly shimmery shades and one matte (Cuddly Bare), good as a base. Here are some close-ups on the swatches together with their names so you can get a better look.

Colour-wise, I'd say these are a mix of Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes with some pink and grey undertones. As the name would suggest, all of these are rather neutral tones to create natural looks.

Now, I like this palette a lot, but I have to make a few remarks. First, the brush it comes with - it's great for details, but just for that. Second, this is not the most pigmented palette I've ever used. Which is great if you're going for the natural look or have slightly more time to build up the colour. The shadows have a pretty good staying power and are really versatile, there are so many looks that can be created with it. Overall, it's a really decent mid-range palette, a good staple for any makeup lover.

Here are two looks I've tried. I'm not a makeup artist, I'm just warning you. Also, that's the first time I'm playing with the new iPhone's camera and BOY AM I SCARED OF THAT QUALITY. Please bear with my pimples.

This is a simple, glowing look using nudes exclusively. I used Cuddly Bare all over my lid as the base, then Pink-a-little in the centre of my lid, a little bit of Mice-tro on my lower lash line to open the eye and Fairly Lights on my brow bone and in the inner corner to highlight. This plus one coat of mascara.

This one is a bit more of a smoky eye. I used Cinna-bunny as the base, Mice-tro in the outer corner and in my crease, a bit of Rich Tea right in the centre for the sparkle and again, Fairly Light to highlight. I also made an attempt at winged eyeliner and doubled on the mascara. These are the products I used:

The Supercat Liquid Eyeliner Pen is honestly one of my all time favourite eyeliners. It's super easy to use, it's deep black and it stays on all day - all I want. The mascara is S&G's Thick & Fast Flash Extensions Effect Mascara. I like it because it doesn't clump my lashes and I don't look like a panda at the end of the day - bear in mind that it's a rather thickening and not lengthening kind.

Okay, that's it for today - hope you enjoyed it! And don't forget to check out Hazel's review.
