My ultimate summer S&G product!

I am excited to share today's post with you. I mean, I've been raving about Soap & Glory products since January and I discovered so many gems, but I honestly think this might just be my favourite S&G product of all time.
I'm usually into a very minimalist approach to make up and I'm on an eternal hunt for make up - no make up and do-it-all products. Not that there is anything wrong with spectacular, full face make up - it looks so beautiful too, but I guess it's just a matter of personal style.
Anyway, the product I am talking about today checks all the boxes and earned itself a permanent place in my make up routine. Let's see what it's all about!

Soap & Glory Hocus Focus is a multitasking illuminating lotion that comes in a handy 30 ml bottle with secure opening, which makes it perfect for traveling. It works as a primer, a highlighter or a foundation-transforming little miracle.

It has a rather runny texture and pearly colour with just a bit of a holographic touch to it. You can see it on the left and my foundation is on the right. I sometimes mix it with moisturiser, but my absolute favourite thing to do is to mix it with my foundation. Many people prefer lighter foundation textures, but when you have a barely touched bottle of high coverage foundation, Hocus Focus is your friend. Just mix a drop or two into your foundation to thin it out and create a dewy base. It's oil free and glides on the skin super easily, which actually makes it a perfect addition to your foundation. I just apply the mixture with my hands, because hey, it's summer, I can't be bothered.

When I'm not wearing any foundation like today I still love to use this product. I simply dab it on my cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupid's bow to obtain a more classic, but still natural strobing effect. Sometime I also use it on my eyelids - because it's not sticky, it wears very comfortably and beautifully opens the eye.
I am so impressed by Hocus Focus. It has multiple uses and a very high-end feel to it. But most of all, it transforms my usually rather dull complexion into one that looks healthy and dewy. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially when going on holidays - it can easily substitute a few products that would otherwise take up a lot of valuable space in your carry on. A true life saver!
